Our Story

Boxing Babes Studio is a small watercolor studio based in Maryland, creating hand-painted cards and custom paper goods about best friendship, girlhood, and showing up for one another. The name comes from a group of best friends, affectionately known as the boxing babes who over decades of friendship have always been in each others' corner - through career changes, marriage, births, grief, divorce, cross-country moves and personal growth.

The pieces are inspired by the female friendship, joy, life seasons and everyday moments worth celebrating. Everything begins as an original watercolor painting and is printed in small batches on high-quality paper. Whether it's a birthday, holiday, or "thinking of you," these cards are meant to feel personal, warm, and worth keeping.

FOUNDER OF BOXING BABES STUDIO

A multi-hyphenate with an eye for design and whimsy, Jannah is the artist behind Boxing Babes Studio. With a vision for building connected communities, Jannah brings a blend of hands on experience from founding and scaling organizations across multiple sectors to grass roots organizing. Coming from generations of artists of all mediums, she decided to launch Boxing Babes Studio as a testament to the friendships that have sustained her, and as a promise to her daughters that there is always space for joy and creativity.
